Description
The role involves collaborating with Finance teams across the LSEG Group's divisions and functions to prepare and deliver informative analysis to support and drive decision making. The successful candidate should have the ability to work in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment, building their business knowledge and applying contribute beneficial insight.We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst, for Reporting & Analytics team to augment our support for the aforesaid activities.
- The incumbent will be responsible for preparing various management reports and responsible for analyzing financial data to derive significant conclusions for use by collaborators across the business.
- The individual will be reporting to Manager and will be based out of Bangalore, India
- Support on data requirements to Build and maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of the businesses to enable preparation of management information packs for key collaborators that include insight to support decision making.
- Partner closely with the Division and Function finance teams, and other teams across Finance (e.g Operations, Group FP&A and Finance colleagues) to provide monthly reporting, with insightful analysis.
- Partner with Finance colleagues on month / quarter end close on various report requirements.
- Be a learner - Invest to learn and share knowledge within the team.
- Develop excel models and use of sophisticated analytical and reporting tools for faster and accurate reporting.
- Educational Qualifications - Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Management. Semi qualified professionals.
- Work Experience Required: 3-5 Years in finance functions.
- Understands overall accounting concepts, Profit & Loss, Statement of Financial position, accruals, provisions.
- Strong communication skills, able to grasp and distill key messages to provide meaningful and benefit commentary on performance of two different periods.
- Strong sense of process ownership with organizational and time management skills to manage multiple activities with contending deadlines.
- Collaboration skills to partner effectively with various teams and across functions of the business (Finance and Non-finance); ability to influence others.
- Expert level with MS Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Working experience with analytical tools is an added advantage (Power BI, Power Query, Power automate Tableau Etc).
