Thompson Palm Springs is now recruiting for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper. Thompson Palm Springs is the desert's most exciting destination tailored for influential locals and sophisticated globetrotters alike. Situated at the heart of the city's iconic Palm Canyon Drive, the hotel will offer a collection of 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms and suites coupled with our total event space of 8,000 square feet plus additional outdoor and unique spaces. Thompson Palm Springs will also house its own mainstay dining concept that will feed into the menus at two bespoke pools and accompanying lounges. an impressive array of ground-level retail space spanning over 30,000-square-feet , guests will also have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center and a first-of-its-kind tasting room from HALL Napa Valley, with additional tenants to follow.

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, including public areas. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.

Additional responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager are as follows but not limited to:
• Work with the Housekeeping team to close out the day and assist in setting up the following day.
• Ensure the public areas are supported and in good condition during evening events.
• Provide solution-based customer service with any guest concerns that arise during shift and assist with the follow-up of previous guest concerns from the day.

T he annual salary range for this position is $66,560 to $72,200. This is the annual salary for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

• • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
