Description
Digital Native Account Executive (Multiple Positions), Databricks, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Sell Databricks products to high-growth, venture-backed companies, including the most technologically advanced companies in the world, to influence their data strategy. Compress decision cycles by penetrating accounts fast and demonstrating value to the customer. Understand a product in-depth and communicate its value to customers. Close new accounts while growing existing accounts. Communicate account strategy to senior leadership on a regular basis. Meet with representatives from levels of client companies to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes. Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and creating value for customers. Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts. Telecommuting permitted. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary range: $157,500 - $188,100/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in Big Data, Cloud, or Saas product sales.
Qualifying experience must include two years in each of the following skills:
- Selling a highly technical product in the cloud;
- Open Source Technologies, build vs buy decision making, and Value Selling Methodologies;
- Exceeding technical sales quotas; and
- Communicating complex technical product topics and business impacts to client representatives at all levels, including C-suite.
Up to 50% Domestic travel required.
