Position Summary

The Head Golf Professional / Director of Golf is responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf operations, including staff leadership, member engagement, tournaments, instruction, merchandising, and golf services. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for the game, and a commitment to delivering a world-class golf experience.

Experience Required

• PGA Class A Membership required.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in golf operations.
• Proven success in member service, tournament management, and staff development.
• Strong teaching and coaching background.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with golf management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to golf operations staff.
• Manage day-to-day golf operations including tee time management, pace of play, and tournament execution.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong relationships with members and guests.
• Develop and implement instructional programs for players of all skill levels.
• Oversee merchandising, buying, and inventory control in the golf shop.
• Coordinate and execute member events, leagues, and tournaments.
• Collaborate with course maintenance and food & beverage teams to ensure a seamless experience.
• Maintain financial accountability through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Recruit, train, and mentor golf staff while promoting a culture of excellence.
