Organization Summary
Two Bear Therapeutic Riding Center (TBTRC) is dedicated to improving the lives of those with special needs through social development, emotional and physical therapies, and equine-assisted activities. We believe everyone deserves a chance to reach their full potential. We also believe that horses can bond with and inspire us in profound ways. Our team of professional staff, volunteers and horses work together to create an accepting and encouraging environment that fosters personal confidence and independence in those we serve.
TBTRC started in 2017 with a barn, a few courageous horses, some dedicated volunteers, and a shared vision to bring equine-assisted therapies and programs to the Flathead Valley. Since that humble beginning, we’ve seen participants speak their first words, take their first steps, and find their confidence - all while atop a horse. We've built a community that is committed to seeing and believing in the beauty and gifts each person brings into the world, and creating a space for them to discover that within themselves.
We are seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead our organization by helping others discover what makes them strong, unique, joyful, and fulfilled. This role carries traditional responsibilities like strategic and operational oversight of our staff, programs and mission. But most importantly, our ED is the spark that lights the fire in others through compassion, fostering connection and inclusion, and leading with heart.
