Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority
The Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority (Authority) provides potable water and sewer collection services to Jackson Township, New Jersey which is a growing, 100.6 square mile community in northern Ocean County. The Authority currently has 54 employees and serves over 13,000 customers, as well as Six Flags Great Adventure.
Job Description Scope:
The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the Authority and is responsible for the leadership and direct supervision of the Authority's day-to-day operations. This position reports to a seven (7) member Board of Commissioners.
Education and Experience:
o B.S. degree in business management, engineering, or related discipline is required.
o Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of proven increase of responsibility in professional and administrative management in the water and/or sewer industry, including budget preparation, development and implementation of five- and ten-year capital improvement planning, labor relations, human resources, NJ Local Public Contracts Law and laws and regulations governing public sector water and sewer utilities.
Benefits:
The Authority offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate must be a New Jersey resident. Relocation is not available.
Salary Range: $140,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually.
