Description
Business Development & Sales
- Stay current on exhibition industry trends and recommend innovative enhancements to drive growth.
- Achieve a target of $2.5M+ in annual revenue through proactive sales and marketing tactics.
- Drive retention and growth of existing clients by creating high-value deliverables and creative solutions for program involvement.
- Identify and cultivate new prospects through research, outreach, and consultative sales strategies.
Sales Management & Operations
- Develop sales collateral (floorplans, contracts, terms & conditions) and implement promotional campaigns.
- Be point person for Exhibit Management Platform.
- Create and manage exhibitor contracts, invoices, and company LOAs.
- Track, forecast, and report on pipeline progress, revenue targets, and customer feedback using CRM tools.
Event & Exhibit Management
- Support Meetings Team in planning and execution of meetings, including exhibit hall management, logistics, vendor coordination, customer service & onsite delivery.
- Oversee fulfillment of sponsor and exhibitor deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors, resolving logistical challenges and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Creation of exhibitor service kits, sponsorship portals, and registration/housing tools.
Administrative & Budget Oversight
- Work with team to develop and manage annual budgets, revenue goals, and expense forecasts for exhibits and sponsorships.
- Lead performance meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders to align objectives and evaluate effectiveness.
- Participate on site visit trips for selection and planning.
- Occasional travel and the ability to work extra hours is required. Weekend and evening events are standard.

Requirements
- Candidate should be able to balance a sales mindset as well as service.
- An organized and proactive professional with over 10 years of experience in conference sales and sponsorship management/fulfillment
- CMP or CEM certification preferred.
- Adept at leveraging technology to enhance business processes and customer engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area as well as at least 5 years’ work or volunteer experience in professional membership organization or association.
- Healthcare sales experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Exhibit Management Platforms such as a2z or Map Your Show.
- Excellent technology, writing, communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to perform individually and part of a broader team is essential for success.
