CEA is looking to hire just the right experienced HR professional with solid training and facilitation skills. You will assist our members on numerous employment matters. This will include developing and presenting HR compliance trainings, customizing employee handbooks, and providing guidance on our HR support line on wage and hour, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, workplace investigations, safety and more. Additionally, you will develop and deliver engaging training sessions to support professional development covering essential business topics, employment readiness, and organizational growth for employers in CA.

Requirements
In this role, you will:
- Provide HR support and guidance to CEA Members and HR Hotline callers on issues such as wage and hour, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, workplace investigations, and safety
- Present dynamic and engaging compliance and leadership courses: Sample of training topics include Wage and Hour, Harassment Prevention, Labor Law Updates, Leaves of Absence, Conflict Management, Effective Communication, Emotional intelligence
- Support employers in building stronger workplaces through practical solutions and responsive service
- Conduct HR audits and create action plans
- Provide updates to CEA’s forms and toolkits
- Ocassionally travel to conferences and employer locations in California
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of CEA
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience advising employers on HR compliance and solutions
- Knowledge of California’s employment laws and regulatory agencies
- 5 years of experience with facilitation and presentation skills focusing on HR compliance and essential skills training
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in computer skills.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
