SUMMARY
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the HRIS systems of the company. This individual serves as a technical point of contact and ensures data integrity, testing of systems changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and updates information in HRIS
Serves as a contact for employees with HRIS issues
Supports all HRIS applications, including payroll, benefits, timekeeping, employee self-service, etc.
Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports and queries utilizing appropriate report writer tools. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
Completes routine audits of HRIS systems, timekeeping records, etc.
Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation for HRIS users
Trains new users on HRIS Systems
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical ability and communication skills
Solid knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
Must be proficient in Excel and Word
Excellent attention to detail
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and/or 2 years of experience
PHR/SPHR preferred
Prior experience with ADP payroll, timekeeping, reporting and benefits system a plus
The military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.
