Description
Brenny Family Funeral Chapel — a trusted funeral service provider in the Brainerd Lakes Area since 1933 and proud recipient of the 2025 Brainerd Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award — is seeking personable, compassionate professionals to join our team of Licensed Funeral Directors.
Our Funeral Directors live our mission of serving families with compassion, dignity, and respect by:
- Meeting with families to plan, coordinate, and oversee funeral arrangements, ensuring all services are meaningful and tailored to their wishes
- Providing thoughtful guidance on disposition options, keeping the family’s emotional, cultural, and faith-based needs in mind
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery from first call through final tribute
- Overseeing documentation and permits related to death certificates, transportation, and burial or cremation processes
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies, ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld
This is primarily an arrangements and services role. Funeral Directors may also be called upon to assist with other professional duties as needed, including evening on-call rotations, transfers, oversight of service staff, and occasional decedent preparation.
Our chapels are known for a high call volume and fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational skills, quick problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure.
We are committed to fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment where your dedication and expertise are recognized and valued. With chapels located in Baxter, Staples, Pequot Lakes, Pine River, Crosslake and Randall, our Directors serve families throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area.
