Spring Hill Animal Clinic in Spring Hill, Florida, is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead our 2-doctor team.
We’re searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values collaboration, loves mentorship, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a leadership position. Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in the state of Florida for consideration.
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling, weekends off, and hour-long lunch breaks. There are no emergency or on-call services for this position.
Background and Experience:
- Strong leadership skills (prior experience in a leadership role is a plus!)
- Ability to collaborate with our existing team (2 DVMs, 2 CVTs, and 10+ support members)
- Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Build and uphold existing relationships with the local Spring Hill community
- Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow relationships within the practice and the community
- Encourage the growth of support staff members
- Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments
- Oversee the medical care of all patients
- Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
- Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality
- Assist Practice Manager with the staffing and scheduling
Compensation:

We’re a full-service companion animal practice equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, full in-house labs, a dedicated surgery suite, and more. Our staff has proudly served Spring Hill for more than 30 years and is known for providing cohesive care in a calm environment. Our technician team is fantastic and does a great job keeping our DVMs on track each day. We currently have two skilled Associate DVMs, who have special interests in internal medicine and dentistry.
