Details of the Division and Team:Within Deutsche Bank's Private Bank, Banking, Lending & Investment Solutions (BLIS) teams offer comprehensive products services and investment solutions for Private Bank clients. BLIS COO team plays constructive role in partnering with BLIS product heads in emerging market for driving key business initiatives. The function's key mandate is to ensure adherence to the risk & control governance framework in line with regulatory requirements / internal policies /audit standards; also involving front to back review of processes and scaling up of controls to address the gaps that are self-identified or highlighted by Regulators/ auditors.
As a member of the BLIS COO team for Emerging Markets, the incumbent will play an important role in delivering on Capital Markets business priorities and managing the business risks.

- Business Management
- Lead, monitor and coordinate financial and management information (budget, revenue, cost)
- Own and continuously enhance business processes
- Support HK Location Business Continuity Management activities for BLIS teams
- Strategy Execution
- Work with business heads to define business strategy and facilitate annual budgeting process
- Drive and execute business priorities and projects
- Coordinate with front-to-back functions and transformation team on infrastructure enhancements
- Risk and Control
- Ensure awareness of and strict adherence to the regulatory framework and applicable bank policies and procedures
- Participate in asset-class centric risk initiatives
- Support asset-class centric regulatory projects, audits and reviews
- Ensure all audit points and NPA conditions are fully tracked to completion or closure
- Lead on operational incidents and control enhancement, including defining and implementing controls and risk mitigation actions
- Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in Private Wealth Investments or Global Markets business management or risk management
- Good knowledge in Private Wealth Capital Markets investment products (FX, Structured Products, Equities, Bonds)
- Knowledge in Capital Markets regulations (e.g. MIFID II, Volcker, Uncleared Margin) and Singapore & Hong Kong regulations pertaining to Private Banks
- Project management skills and process design and documentation experience
- Experience in dealing with Audit and regulatory reviews will be preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to clearly articulate one's viewpoints/ blockers/ challenges and able to engage with various departments (front office, product owners, operations, legal and compliance, product control, finance, etc.)
