Job Description:About Organization
The Product Line Manager (PLM) is accountable for the strategic direction, lifecycle management, and overall success of a specific product line or portfolio within the telecommunications domain. The scope includes market analysis, competitive positioning, product roadmap definition, business case development, and go-to-market strategy-ensuring the product line meets its financial and strategic objectives.
Job Duties
• Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for the assigned product line, aligning with overall company objectives.
• Identify new market trends, emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, SDN/NFV, Edge Computing, AI/ML in Telecom, IoT), and potential disruptors.
• Build compelling business cases for new product initiatives, including market sizing, revenue projections, cost analysis, and ROI.
• Develop and prioritize the product roadmap; translate strategy into clear requirements and release plans.
• Conduct competitive analysis and drive differentiation, including pricing and packaging considerations.
• Lead go-to-market planning and execution in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Define and track product KPIs; ensure financial targets (growth, profitability) are met.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and external partners.
• Manage the product lifecycle from introduction to growth, maturity, and sunset.
Minimum Qualifications
• 7-10 years of relevant industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics or Communications)
• Strong experience in product management
• Hands-on experience in outdoor radio design and link budget analysis
• Strategic planning skills for spectrum, site count, and radio hardware requirements aligned with subscriber forecasts and growth plans
• Deep understanding of vRAN architecture, O-RAN principles, and radio products; experience with RAN automation
• Excellent understanding of radio KPIs, counters, parameters, and features, including optimization
• Solid knowledge of user and signaling call flows, with the ability to troubleshoot RAN issues in live networks
