Description
The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking interested and qualified candidates for the position described below. As a condition of employment, employees are required to participate in the payroll direct deposit program.
Under administrative direction, the Program Manager will maintain consistent staff coverage; monitoring caseloads, supervising work assignments, and managing the 24/7 on-call and crisis coverage. Se1ves as day-to-day contact and liaison with the state and the GCSO, GCCF for the JBCR program. Coordinates activities with GCSO, GCCF, and the rest of the team to maintain smooth and effective operations. Provides clinical services, including assessments, crisis intervention, treatment, counseling, psychoeducational groups, and therapeutic activities.
Provides competency education in group and individual settings. Maintains consistent staff coverage, monitors caseloads, supervises work assignments, and manages on-call and crisis coverage. Confirms that JBCR services comply with applicable standards, regulations, and requirements. Monitors timely delivery of JBCR services, while managing Liberty's performance monitoring activities and QI activities. Provides expert testimony in court, as required. Performs related work as directed.
Requirements
- Seasoned behavioral health professional with clinical licensure (licensed master's level clinician or psychologist) and experience in direct treatment, assessment, and clinical services; administrative responsibilities; supervising mental health clinicians; and managing correctional and/or forensic mental health programs.
- Behavioral health professional is a professional credential required in Florida for individuals to legally provide mental health counseling and therapy to clients.
- The specific requirements for this license include obtaining a relevant master's or doctoral degree, completing supervised clinical work, passing a state board examination, and fulfilling continuing education requirements.
- Common titles for these licensed professionals include Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
