• Manages all procurement activities in a specific project

Job Description
• Ensures that the Project policies, procedures, and schedules are aligned to the Procurement Department activities
• Supervises and harmonizes the activities of the Expediter Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator and all buyers working on the Project
• Defines with the Procurement Senior Manager the policy to be followed for spare parts procurement and the conditions under which vendors will provide field supervision
• Manages the Procurement team assigned on permanent basis to the Project Task Force, if applicable
• Makes sure that Buyers selects Vendors in accordance with the Project Vendor List
• Follows all the phases related to the call for bids • Recommends a payment policy with the aim of avoiding a negative cash-flow balance
• May manage one Project Procurement Coordinator, for larger projects

You are meant for this job if:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in the related field
• Negotiation skills
