Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven Sales Account Executive to grow our industrial and foodservice business in custom dry blending. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with food manufacturers, processors, and foodservice operators, while identifying new opportunities for custom formulation, contract blending, and value-added solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of B2B food sales, ingredient applications, and how to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth: Deliver revenue targets through new business development, existing account growth, and strategic partnerships.
Account Development: Manage and expand relationships with existing accounts and decision-makers such as corporate chefs, R&D leads, procurement teams, and supply chain managers.
Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, foodservice events and customer meetings to promote capabilities and grow visibility.
Other Responsibilities:
Track leads and sales activity through CRM system, maintaining accurate pipelines and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, QA, production) to create and scale custom blends tailored to client specifications.
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, quoting, sampling, negotiations, and closing.
Promote the company’s capabilities in custom dry blending and co-packing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or related field.
8+ years of B2B sales experience in the food manufacturing, ingredient, or foodservice sectors.
Proven experience selling to multi-unit operators, distributors, or industrial food companies.
Existing relationships with national or regional foodservice chains, or industrial food companies.
Technical knowledge of dry ingredient blends (e.g., seasoning blends, baking bases, batters, beverage powders).
Experience with large-volume production runs and managing complex customer requirements.
Familiarity with food industry regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Requirements
8-10 years of experience and a strong food manufacturing network.
