Job DescriptionThis is a permanent position and can be based remotely within Germany.
As a Senior Portfolio Revenue Manager, you will take IHG Hotels & Resorts' revenue strategy to the next level by driving commercial performance across a diverse portfolio of hotels.
In this high-impact role, you'll not only shape pricing and inventory strategies but also influence wider business decisions, mentor Portfolio Revenue Managers, and partner with senior stakeholders to optimise revenue across multiple markets. This position blends strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and commercial acumen to maximise profitability at scale.
Your Day-to-Day
- Act as the direct revenue leader for 2-6 hotels, holding daily, weekly, and monthly revenue generation calls with hotel teams.
- Provide support, coaching, and direction to allocated PRMs to ensure the execution of effective strategies and actions for revenue management.
- Set, support, and monitor clear performance goals and targets for allocated PRMs.
- Maintain expertise in IHG systems and revenue processes for yourself and your direct reports.
- Work closely with Revenue Services and the wider Revenue Management community to improve performance and share best practices.
- Stay up to date with market intelligence and industry trends, using insights to drive revenue performance across your portfolio.
- Role model the teams core behaviours: Ambitious, Courageous, Dedicated and Caring.
- Support the Revenue Services Performance Director in leading the sub-business unit team.
What We Need from You
- 7+ years' progressive experience in financial or strategic planning, revenue management, or pricing, with proficiency across multiple disciplines, technologies, and processes, preferably within the hotel industry or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of revenue management principles, effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimisation, and selling strategies.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and understand the impact on IHG's goals and bottom line.
- Excellent leadership, team building, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
