Description
On behalf of Global Payments, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager POS (f/m/d) to strategically and operationally drive the development of their electronic payment terminal portfolio. In this role, you'll help shape the future of cashless payments - by developing solutions that are compliant, market-driven, and future-ready. Become part of their international team and help build the next generation of payment innovation.Tasks
- Strategic and operational development of our POS product portfolio tailored to the German market
- Managing the product roadmap, including prioritization, requirement definition, and coordination with internal and external partners
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. Girocard, ZAG, PCI) and translating them into market-ready solutions
- Close collaboration with teams from Sales, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to ensure market readiness
- Planning and execution of product launches, including pilot phases, testing, and evaluation of feedback
- Integration of new value-added services (e.g. digital receipts, loyalty programs) into the POS ecosystem
- Monitoring product performance and continuous optimization based on market feedback
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in product management within the German payments industry, ideally in the POS environment
- Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle - from concept to launch and continuous improvement
- Deep knowledge of the payments sector, especially regarding POS terminals, acquiring, and terminal certification processes
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
- Experience in working with technical teams and external technology partners
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured working style
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks in the German payments ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments and hierarchy levels
- Confident use of product management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence) and agile methodologies
