- Sr. Director, Digital Product
Description
The Sr. Director, Digital Product is a strategic leader who will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our digital experience that serve Facing History’s diverse audience of educators, students, and supporters. This role combines hands-on product management work with team leadership responsibilities, overseeing a cross-functional team of designers, researchers, engineers, and analysts.
You will lead product strategy and roadmap development while managing a team of 4-5 direct reports, including leaders of design, engineering, project management, analytics and customer support. Working at the intersection of user needs, organizational mission, and technical capabilities, you will ensure that our website drives meaningful engagement and supports Facing History’s educational impact. As part of the Technology team, you’ll join a culture that values flexibility, a growth mindset, and humor as we navigate the organization’s evolving needs.
This role requires strong data literacy and analytical thinking, as you will be partnering with a data analyst to improve our data infrastructure and using insights to inform product decisions and measure success.
Requirements

7+ years of experience in product management in an agile environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven track record of managing and developing cross-functional teams

Strong expertise in data analysis, including experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Segment, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership

Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering complex products on time and within scope

Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations preferred

Familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms (especially Drupal), and marketing automation tools (HubSpot) preferred
