- Sr. Director, Test Business Development
Description
Amkor Technology is recruiting for a Sr. Director, Test Business Development in Tempe, AZ, reporting to the Vice President, Global Test Services. The selected individual will work with a cross functional team responsible for Amkor's test strategy and objectives including test business development, test business management, capital asset management, technology development and operational excellence. This position must collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to implement customer test solutions and foster an environment of innovation, execution, and efficiency across all areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Identify new business opportunities
- Manage and grow > $700M test business in close cooperation with Amkor's packaging product portfolio and manufacturing test capabilities
- Lead and direct customer contracts and pricing agreements, both short and long term
- Foster customer and supplier relationships with decision-makers
- Apply market understanding to create a comprehensive pricing plan to maintain and grow a sustainable test business
- Oversee programs and initiatives and manage asset acquisition and deployment to achieve growth, profitability and market share goals
- Partner with customers and suppliers to reduce development costs of test engineering solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Engineering required, advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of product test management experience in the semiconductor industry with a demonstrated track record of success
- Demonstrated results of growing a global business and/or deploying an innovative technology platform worldwide
- Thorough understanding of the outsourced test and assembly industry is required
- Strong technical background with extensive product knowledge into semiconductor products, specifically test technology and applicable markets
- Highly motivated with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work with international customer teams
- Experience working with diverse cultures worldwide
- Work closely in a collaborative environment across all organizational layers in identifying, analyzing, and developing corporate opportunities
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, time sensitive environments
- Strong business sense with the ability to quickly learn and analyze new markets
- Ability to assess needs and drive improvement in costing, quoting, and capex systems
LOCATION:
Tempe, AZ. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
