Strategic Development Analyst
Position Summary
The Strategic Development Analyst will support Meketa Capital’s Investment & Product Strategy team through the creation of analytics, CRM management, due diligence, and cross-functional project execution. Collaborate with teams across Business Development, Marketing, Investments, Legal/Compliance, and Operations to drive market insights, build offerings, and deliver actionable reporting and analytics.

Distribution Enablement & Sales Support:
- Prepare and distribute analytics to support the Business Development team.
- Compile and update prospect lists to keep distribution pipelines current.
- Support territory analytics with pipeline dashboards and coverage lists (e.g., Salesforce/Tableau/Power BI) to improve conversion and raise rates.
- Produce recurring KPI and performance reporting (flows, pacing, attribution, liquidity coverage) and recommend actions to address capacity/queue dynamics.
- Monitor the intervalfund operations calendar (NAV strikes, periodic repurchase/tender windows) and prepare clear client and sales communications
CRM & Data Stewardship:
- Build and generate CRM reports tailored to business development and marketing needs.
- Create and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline and engagement metrics.
- Conduct regular CRM audits to ensure data integrity and completeness; identify and manage duplicate records.
- Clean and standardize Excel files and inbound datasets to improve accuracy and reporting readiness.
Product Development Research & Strategy:
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence on interval/tenderoffer funds
- Coordinate productdevelopment sprints: market sizing, competitive/fee benchmarking, shareclass design, and distributioneconomics modeling.
Project Management & GotoMarket:
- Drive crossfunctional project plans (Investments, Ops, Fund Admin, TA, Tech, Legal/Compliance, Sales); manage critical path and stakeholder cadence.
- Coordinate vendor evaluations (fund admin, TA, valuation, data vendors), manage RFPs, and oversee implementation timelines; track SLAs and integration milestones.
Investment Analyst Support:
- Collaborate with the Investment Analyst team to facilitate the flow of information across teams.
- Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
Job Requirements:
- 1-3+ years in asset management/alternatives; experience with interval or tenderoffer funds and registered private markets preferred.
- Strong grasp of private market strategies
- Proficiency with Hubspot / Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Excel/Power Query; skilled with visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI). Basic SQL a plus.
- Excellent writing/editing skills; ability to translate complex concepts into concise, compliant, clientfriendly narratives.
- Comfort building pricing/fee models, and product P&L/ROI analyses.
- Bachelor’s in finance/economics or related field; progress toward CFA/CAIA or FINRA SIE/Series 7/66 a plus.
