We are currently looking for a Technical Program Manager/Product Manager - Finance and Accounting in Latin America.We are seeking a motivated Technical Program Manager to drive the development and optimization of Finance and Accounting products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into actionable product plans, user stories, and roadmaps. You will help shape internal financial tools and reporting solutions, directly influencing key processes such as general ledger management, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to gain deep exposure to core accounting functions while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative remote environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and eager to make an impact on financial product initiatives that support business operations across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Organize and drive the quarterly roadmap for financial planning and accounting tools.
- Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of user stories.
- Partner with Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Customer Relations teams to build, launch, and iterate on internal products.
- Monitor performance against quarterly OKRs and product launch plans, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Support process improvements and adoption of best practices in finance and accounting product management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in technology or finance-related domains.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and ceremonies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of accounting concepts such as general ledger management, 1099 generation, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce accounting or billing systems such as NetSuite.
- Familiarity with accounting best practices and financial management tools.
