BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a collaborative, engaged, and experienced Medical Director to lead our outstanding team of emergency and specialty clinicians in Monterey, California. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a growing hospital while living in one of the most breathtaking coastal regions in the country.

Compensation & Perks:

• Total Compensation Range: $225,000-$350,000
• Annual leadership stipend: Up to $50,000
• Production Compensation: Eligible with No Negative Accrual, paid quarterly
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000

What You'll Do as Medical Director:

• Uphold medical quality standards and patient safety
• Support hospital operations and team alignment
• Foster a learning culture and promote continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians through visits, CE events, and case collaboration
• Champion recruitment, engagement, and retention of clinical talent

Who We're Looking For:

• DVM/VMD with a valid CA license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience managing and mentoring clinical teams
• A passion for high-quality medicine and culture-building
• Comfortable with community engagement and collaborative case work
