Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Compliance to lead our compliance function, ensuring that all operations and products adhere to local and international regulatory standards. This role will focus on three main areas: AML auditing, management of the compliance team, and oversight of transaction monitoring frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

AML Auditing

• • Lead and coordinate AML auditing processes in Hong Kong and other relevant countries.
  • Collaborate closely with the legal team on license applications for additional jurisdictions.

Compliance Team Management

• • Oversee the first-line compliance team responsible for AML/KYC applications and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Transaction Monitoring

• • Manage and oversee transaction monitoring frameworks to minimize AML/CTF risks.
  • Set and review compliance requirements, investigating any suspicious transactions as necessary.

Requirements

• • Minimum of 7 years in compliance, preferably within B2C financial firms, banks, or digital banks.
  • Degree in law is a plus; compliance certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory guidelines and experience working within the APAC region.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing license applications in both APAC and global markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
