POSITION : Vice President
Unit : Public Equity
Job Purpose:
Oversee investment activities by formulating strategies, providing guidance to the equity team, and effectively managing the equity portfolio to ensure alignment with targeted returns and risk tolerance.
Key Accountabilities:
a) Portfolio Construction and Management
Lead and oversee the equity portfolios of LTAT while ensuring that the portfolios are managed in accordance with the mandates and reported strategy.
b) Team Management
Coordinate tasks, assign responsibilities to team members, and develop a plan to achieve the department’s annual targets. Provide guidance, develop skills and monitor the progress of the investment team to ensure they have the right opportunities for growth.
c) Strategic Planning of Public Equity
Contribute to the development of broader investment strategies and initiatives for the public equity portfolios.
Collaborate with other investment professionals, analysts and support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of investment activities.
d) Risk Management
Stay vigilant on daily financial market trends and consistently provide insightful market updates during investment meetings to ensure the investment team remains well-informed and proactive in response to dynamic market conditions.
e) Asset Allocation
Strategies and establish the asset allocation strategies to optimize portfolio returns while considering risk factors and market conditions.
Regularly review and realign portfolio allocations based on market trends, economic forecasts, and investment objectives to ensure optimal performance.
f) Performance Analysis
Review and monitor the performance of equity portfolios against benchmarks and goals.
Lead and reviews the in-depth performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to enhance overall portfolio returns.
g) To undertake any additional assignment as instructed by LTAT.
Requirements
Requirements:
a) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent field.
b) A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder or advanced Degree is preferred.
c) At least 10 years of proven experience in equity fund management, portfolio management or related roles within asset management industry with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
