This organisation is undergoing a strategic transformation in its approach to safety and wellbeing and is seeking a passionate and experienced WHS & Injury Manager to lead this change.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of WHS, you will be responsible for shaping the safety culture and leading a team of WHS Officers to deliver high-impact safety and injury management programs across multiple sites. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational delivery.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading WHS and wellbeing programs using data-driven insights

Managing WHS systems, including contractor management, incident reporting, and compliance

Overseeing injury management and return-to-work programs

Providing expert advice and training to managers and staff

Developing site-specific risk management plans and ensuring legislative compliance

Liaising with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external partners

Supporting strategic direction and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

Formal qualifications in WHS and Return-to-Work

Proven experience leading WHS teams in medium to large organisations

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and incident management

Experience in internal auditing and policy development

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across regional locations
