The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift. The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 8-hr shifts, 40 hours per week; occasional afterhours support may be needed per business needs.
Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from School of nursing (BS, or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualification:
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
