Director of Business Services Winneconne Community School District

The Winneconne Community School District is seeking a Director of Business Services to serve as the district’s financial leader and advisor to the District Administrator. This is a 12-month, full-time administrative position responsible for the oversight and administration of all business services, including budgeting, auditing, financial planning, personnel management functions, and risk management programs.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the district’s chief financial officer and advisor to the District Administrator. Oversee preparation and management of the annual district budget and maintain accurate financial records. Develop long-range financial plans and manage purchasing, accounting, payroll, and business data systems. Supervise district clerical personnel and collaborate with other administrators on staffing needs. Administer employee contracts, compensation, and benefit programs. Manage audits, state and federal financial reporting, and grant claim processes. Ensure compliance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and two years of experience in the public sector OR Master’s Degree in School Business Management.
Preferred:
Experience in school business services and supervisory leadership. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and human resources processes. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in technology and business software systems.
