Description

SuperCare Health seeks a strategic, collaborative, and highly motivated leader in the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources (SVP HR), with an emphasis on Talent Development and Culture, to ensure consistent achievement of its mission, principles and financial objectives; and to position SuperCare Health for strategic growth.

As a member of the organization’s senior leadership team, the SVP HR reports to the CEO and is a key advisor and consultant to the Executive Team on all HR recruiting, talent development, culture and training matters.  The SVP HR’s primary responsibility is leading the strategic and operational activities of the Talent Development functions which includes Leadership Training.  This leadership role creates and leads people-centric strategies that support team members through their entire employment life cycle.

The SVP HR’s role is also to build a culture that advances SuperCare Health’s mission while also providing leadership development opportunities throughout the organization and especially for participants in SuperCare Health’s leadership training programs and the Ten Principles of Super Leadership.  The SVP HR will be responsible for overall leadership and support in the orientation and development of all team members and will design and implement effective methods for the acquisition of new talents, skills, knowledge, and abilities.  This includes:

         *      Conduct annual learning needs assessment and make recommendations for professional development for individuals and work groups.

         *      Manage Performance Management procedures from Coaching and Counseling, Performance Reviews, and Professional Development.

         *      Develop and facilitate leadership training workshops and make presentations as required.

         *      Provide support to leadership in assessing current and future training needs for all levels of employees.

         *      Assist with identification of development needs of employees and research the most efficient and cost-effective way to address those needs using internal and external resources.

         *      Assist employees in creating professional development plans.

         *      Provide individual and group coaching

         *      Recommend and implement programs to improve employee engagement and retention both for unsourced teams and international outsourced teams

         *      Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.

         *      Create workbooks, manuals, handouts, visuals, modules, and other training materials; develop and implement a blended approach which integrates different learning modes, such as coaching, in-person instruction and online learning.

         *      Develop course content and work with teams to ensure that all mandatory training is completed by all employees in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

         *         Conduct studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

         *.        Focus on KPIs such as eNPS, Turnover Rates, and Training 

         *         Lead efforts to create a healthy and equitable organizational culture.

         



Requirements

The SVP HR will be a leader with a successful track record of creating strategic and hands-on approaches to talent development, culture and training in the healthcare industry, including the following ten key areas:  (1) ensuring critical role staffing; (2) designing a talent management process; (3) linking purpose to culture; (4) holding leadership accountable for the culture promise; (5) measuring and communicating culture; (6) directing strategic workforce planning; (7) planning for strategic enterprise changes; (8) measuring senior team effectiveness; (9) coaching and developing key enterprise talent; and (10) planning key employee succession.   

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Training and Development, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline is preferred. SHRM or HRCI certification is required.  At least seven years of experience in a similar level role with a strong track record of success in strategic organizational development, workforce development, and executive coaching is required.  Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong platform skills and be adept with a variety of multimedia learning platforms and methods. They should have the ability to evaluate and research learning options and alternatives and the ability to develop, customize and present professional development materials.

This position is a hybrid role requiring occasional travel to the corporate office in Downey, California.  Candidates located in the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area are strongly preferred.  The salary range for this position is $166,400 to $249,600.
