Appointed by the Chief Medical Officer, the Senior Director serves to provide leadership in all areas relating to the Medical and Clinical department of ReGenesis Health Care, Inc.  The Senior Director is responsible for recommending and implementing policies and procedures; supervising the Pediatricians and Family Medicine Physicians, and supporting the Addiction Medicine Program; and ensuring the continuous quality improvement program is administered in all medical and clinical activities; and participating as an integral part of the leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directs the Pediatric and Family Medicine programs of the organization according to the guidelines established by the CMO and in accordance with provider’s training and board certification.
  • Supervises the performance improvement activities of the health center that relate to the medical or clinical program as assigned by the CMO, to include the clinical care measures.
  • Has direct supervision of the Pediatric Providers and Family Medicine Providers and allocates resources in order to carry out the health care program of ReGenesis Health Care, Inc.
  • Has direct supervision of the Addiction Medicine Medical Director and provides support for the overall leadership and development of the Addiction Medicine Program.
  • Reports to the Chief Medical Officer and works as a team member with other Managers and Directors in the Organization to independently manage special projects as assigned by the CMO.
  • In partnership with the CMO, sets priorities and makes decisions on critical programs, partnerships and issues.
  • As a leader, maintains an active patient panel, providing face to face clinical care, maintaining or exceeding the same expectations of productivity and quality expected of supervisees during time not allotted for administrative duties.
  • Assume responsibility for patient satisfaction and productivity of all reports, seek improvements in both through applying RHC policies and procedures and working with the providers to innovate new approaches.


Skills- Ability to employ necessary leadership and management techniques in the supervision of staff.  Ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. A predisposition and talent for multitasking, flexibility and willingness to respond appropriately to unforeseen demands.


  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Care facility preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Minimum of five years working at RHC or in a similar setting, or demonstrated experience as an executive, or program director of a clinical


  • A license to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina.
  • Current certification by an appropriate American specialty board.


• Qualified in Basic Life Support techniques•
• Ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to the patients and other health care providers of RHC.

• Graduate from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy; completion of an approved residency program in internal medicine, family practice, or pediatrics.

• Ability to care for all patients regardless of payor source, ethnicity, gender, or medical condition. A predisposition and talent for multitasking, flexibility and willingness to respond appropriately to unforeseen demands.

• Completion of an approved residency program in internal medicine•
• Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model preferred.
• Completion of a qualified residency program or demonstration of a reasonable volume of patient care within the past 12 months.

• South Carolina license to practice medicine.
• Current certification by an appropriate American specialty board or board eligible and in process to become board certified with 12 months of hire.
