About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager for Customer Personalization within Consumer Data and Enablement (CDEP). In this role, you will be a part of the core Personalization team, leading data driven insights to help guide strategy across lines of businesses. Leading discussions cross LOBs and the Personalization team to determine key metrics and ways to quantify impact on customer experience and on Wells Fargo, including customer engagement and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop team managers and lead multiple teams to deliver best in class finance practices to enhance business management, executing on key initiatives, and processes across products and lines of business
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute primary and secondary market research projects or results oriented intelligence that support each of the different lines of business within a major Wells Fargo business division
  • Engage and influence most experienced leaders companywide to communicate and provide strategic consultation
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for alternatives, approaches, or solutions through the use of robust financial, economic model, and complex non-models related to complex financial products, pricing strategy, regulatory standards, and other financial performance metrics and financial forecasting
  • Provide support for designing, testing, evaluating, implementing, measuring, monitoring, and managing finance models and strategies across acquisitions, account management, and collections
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Analytics team to develop business or finance policies, approval or denial strategies, business line assignment methods, collections, and recovery strategies
  • Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with and influence lines of business, business partners, Operating Committee, Chief Marketing Officer, external agencies, regulatory bodies, industry forums managers, experienced consultants, and executive management on issues with high, critical impact on the success of the company
  • Lead a team of managers, consultants, or cross functional virtual teams in accomplishing goals
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Analytics
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience
Desired:
  • Experience working with data and analytics in relation to personalization
  • Experience with customer analytics
  • Experience analyzing data from decision/personalization engines such as Pega, Adobe Target, etc...
  • 6+ years of SQL or SAS experience
  • Expert level of Tableau experience
  • Experience in Identify Resolution/ID Graph, Device Graphing, Real time CDP
  • Expert level knowledge on utilizing testing and optimization platforms, such as Maximizer and Adobe Target
  • Direct experience managing team of data consultant/analysts
  • Experience managing in a virtually, including leading on and offshore employees
  • Ability to work with large databases and process flow through complex logic or merging algorithm.
  • Financial service industry experience
  • Experience successfully developing actionable data analytics and data strategies to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes
  • Articulate and possess strong data analytic experience and have strong interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to translate complex analytics in to easily understood insights and summarizing or presenting to various levels of management.
  • Experience providing 'credible challenge' to business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment
  • Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
