IT BUSINESS ANALYST / PROJECT MANAGER

Leading Alternative Investment Firm | London | 6 months contract

THE ROLE

Manage the delivery of cloud and SaaS solutions for a leading Alternative Investment firm. You'll combine business analysis, project management, and vendor oversight - defining requirements, managing implementation partners, and owning tactical developments on the Microsoft Power Platform with AI integration.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Gather and validate business requirements; translate into vendor specifications and build requirements
2. Manage SaaS/cloud solution selection (RFP, evaluation, vendor selection)
3. Lead project delivery - act as PM against external vendors or manage in-house Power Platform/AI solutions directly
4. Oversee integrations, migrations, UAT, and go-live
5. Manage vendors against SLAs, timelines, and deliverables
6. Identify and support Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases across the business
7. Use Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot directly to prototype solutions and support analysis

WHO YOU ARE

Essential:

1. Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
2. Track record delivering SaaS/cloud business systems
3. Experience managing implementation partners and running projects directly
4. Vendor and contract management expertise
5. Cloud solution knowledge (SaaS, APIs, integrations)
6. BA/IIBA or PRINCE2/Agile/PMP certification
7. Private Markets or Asset Management experience

Desirable:

1. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) experience
2. Hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot
3. Knowledge of Anaplan, DealCloud, Workiva, or Azure data platforms
